FettCaster, Part 2: hacking the donor guitar

Started out as a Jay Turser LT with a "natural" finish - actually clear polyurethane applied super-thick so it sucks out all the tone you might otherwise get out of the wood. I cooked that off with a heat gun, then took a router to the body to enlarge the control cavity and make room for additional electronics. I didn't like the shape of the JT-LT headstock, so I took a belt sander to it and reshaped it into a spear-tip shape. Ditched all the old guts - all we'll be retaining in the FettCaster is the wood, frets, nut and some minor bits of hardware. Those are new locking tuners from Fender, with the Fett Clan F-logo on the back.
